I'm Arob, and I founded Shoplytic in 2025 after feeling the same frustration many Australians face every week—rising grocery prices, limited transparency, and a lack of real choice in a market dominated by two major supermarkets.
As prices climbed faster than wages, I found myself constantly asking: which store really offers better value? With little time and even less clear information, most of us just head to the closest supermarket and hope we’re not overpaying.
Arriving in Australia more than 20 years ago and now navigating a shrinking tech job market, I decided to turn that frustration into something useful—a tool to empower Australians to make smarter shopping decisions.
Six months of dedicated work later, Shoplytic was born. It’s a platform built to bring transparency back to grocery shopping—helping you see real price differences, spot genuine discounts, and make confident choices during tough economic times.
